Tutoring

A large component of CLIC is the Low-Cost Tutoring Center. With increased State standards, more demands are put on students. The opportunity to seek extra help is not available to all. Many students who attend schools in the area do not have the means to receive private tutoring from professional teachers. By offering quality tutoring at a low cost ($5.00 per session) at a convenient location, CLIC will offer an accessible program that is not available otherwise in the community.  This program is for students in grades 7-12.  You do not have to live in our area to attend.  We welcome students from any school district or those home schooled.  We ask that students bring their books and any other pertinent materials.   Tutoring begins on September 15th

CLIC Tutoring Schedule

Homework Helpers

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

3:00 to 5p.m.

$4.00 includes snack

Our homework helpers program is open to any student from any school district in grades 1 through 8 who would like to get a boost in completing their homework.  High School and College volunteers, under the watchful eye of an adult educational consultant, come to CLIC to work one-on-one with younger students to complete their assignments and work on study and organizational skills.  You do not have to attend every session.  This is a drop in program.  Kids in the F-M district can take the bus from their respective schools and get dropped off behind CLIC.  We ask that the student bring the necessary work with them as we do not have books and worksheets from every school.  We will supplement when assignments are completed with additional reinforcing materials including computer programs, worksheets, books for reading, etc.
