This is a very important aspect of CLIC. Our children and young adults currently have no place to go to "hang out" with their friends. CLIC would certainly encourage kids to do just that in a drug and alcohol free environment. By having space,
and snacks kids would be encouraged to come down and spend quality time with their friends. They could sit and do homework together, work on volunteer projects, interact with adults (because CLIC will always be open to anyone in the community) or plan an event that they would like to see happen at CLIC.
With increased
funding, a coffee house atmosphere
could take over with music by adults, kids, or adults and kids. There could be a game night or an "improv" night, or a presentation by a community group.
